Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

By the morning brightness, 1 and by the night when it covers, 2 Thy Sustainer has not forsaken thee, nor does He scorn thee: 3 And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life]. 4 And soon will thy Guardian-Lord give thee (that wherewith) thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Has He not found thee an orphan, and given thee shelter? 6 Did He not find thee erring, and guide thee? 7 And did He not find you in want, and then enriched you? 8 So do not oppress the orphan, 9 And do not drive the beggar away, 10 But tell of the favors of your Lord! 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
