The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the morning brightness, 1 and by the night when it covers the world with peace: 2 Your Lord has not taken leave of you, [O Muhammad], nor has He detested [you]. 3 And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life]. 4 And verily thy Lord will give unto thee so that thou wilt be content. 5 Found He not thee an orphan, so He sheltered thee? 6 And He found thee wandering, so He guided thee, 7 And found you in need, so made you prosperous? 8 So as for the orphan, do not oppress [him]. 9 Nor repulse the petitioner (unheard); 10 And keep recounting the favours of your Lord. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
