Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By oath of the late morning, 1 And by the night when it is still (or darkens); 2 your Lord has not forsaken you (Prophet Muhammad), nor does He hate you. 3 and the Hereafter will indeed be better for you than the present life; 4 And verily, your Lord will give you (all i.e. good) so that you shall be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you as an orphan and give you shelter? 6 And found you deeply engrossed in His love, so directed you? 7 And found you in need, so made you prosperous? 8 Do not oppress the orphan, 9 And as for him who asks, do not chide (him), 10 And as for the favor of your Lord, do announce (it). 11

Almighty God's Truth.
