The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the Glorious Morning Light, 1 and by the calm of night, 2 Your Lord has not taken leave of you, [O Muhammad], nor has He detested [you]. 3 And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life]. 4 And verily thy Lord will give unto thee so that thou wilt be content. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge? 6 Did He not find you wandering, and give you guidance? 7 And found thee in want, and given thee sufficiency? 8 Therefore, the orphan shalt thou never wrong, 9 nor drive away the one who asks. 10 But the bounty of the Lord - rehearse and proclaim! 11
