Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

۞ HAVE WE NOT opened up your breast 1 and relieved you of your burden 2 The which did gall thy back?- 3 And raised high for you your repute. 4 Surely with difficulty is ease. 5 surely, with every hardship there is ease. 6 So when you have finished [your duties], then stand up [for worship]. 7 and be devoted to your Lord's service. 8

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
