Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

۞ Did We not expand for you, [O Muhammad], your breast? 1 and lift from thee thy burden, 2 which had been a heavy weight upon your back 3 And raised high for you your repute. 4 Indeed, hardship is followed by ease, 5 surely, with every hardship there is ease. 6 Then when thou becometh relieved, toil; 7 And incline towards your Lord. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
