The Embryo (Al-Alaq)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Read! In the name of your Lord, who created: 1 He created man from a clot of blood. 2 Read! Your Lord is the Most Generous, 3 Who has taught (the writing) by the pen [the first person to write was Prophet Idrees (Enoch)]. 4 The One Who taught man all what he did not know. 5 Nay! Verily, man does transgress all bounds (in disbelief and evil deed, etc.). 6 whenever he believes himself to be self-sufficient: 7 for, behold, unto thy Sustainer all must return. 8 HAST THOU ever considered him who tries to prevent 9 a servant (of Allah) when he prays? 10 What will happen if the praying person is rightly guided 11 Or had enjoined piety, (it would have been better)? 12 Have you considered if he gives the lie to the truth and turns (his) back? 13 Knoweth he not that Allah doth see? 14 By no means! If he desist not We shall seize and deal him by the forelock 15 a lying, sinful forelock. 16 Then, let him call his assembly, 17 We also shall call the infernal guards. 18 By no means! Obey not thou him. Continue to adore, and continue to draw nigh. ۩ 19
Almighty God's Truth.
