The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

When the earth is shaken with its [final] earthquake 1 And Earth yieldeth up her burdens, 2 when man asks, "What is happening to her?"; 3 That Day, it will report its news 4 Because your Lord sent a command to it. 5 On that Day mankind will proceed in bands, that they may be shewn their works. 6 So. he who has done an atom's weight of good shall see it 7 And he who has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
