The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

WHEN THE EARTH quakes with her [last] mighty quaking, 1 And the earth discharges its burdens 2 when man asks, "What is happening to her?"; 3 On that Day will she declare her tidings: 4 Because thy Lord inspireth her. 5 On that Day people will go forth in varying states so that they be shown their deeds. 6 So, whoever does an atom's weight of good shall see it; 7 And whoever does an evil deed equal to the weight of the minutest particle, will see it. 8

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
