The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken with its violent shaking, 1 and when the earth brings forth its burdens 2 and Man says., 'What ails her?' 3 on that Day will she recount all her tidings, 4 as thy Sustainer will have inspired her to do! 5 On that Day people will go forth in varying states so that they be shown their deeds. 6 And so, he who shall have done an atom's weight of good, shall behold it; 7 while whoever has done the smallest particle of evil will see it. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
