Al-Zalzalah

The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken to her (utmost) convulsion, 1 and when the earth brings forth its burdens 2 the human being will say (in horror), "What is happening to it?" 3 On that Day will she declare her tidings: 4 Because your Lord had inspired her. 5 On that day men will return towards their Lord, in different groups, in order to be shown their deeds. 6 Whosoever has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, 7 And whoever does an evil deed equal to the weight of the minutest particle, will see it. 8

God the Almighty always says the truth.
