The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

WHEN THE EARTH quakes with her [last] mighty quaking, 1 And the earth discharges its burdens 2 when man asks, "What is happening to her?"; 3 On that day earth will narrate its news, 4 for that her Lord has inspired her. 5 On that Day mankind will proceed in bands, that they may be shewn their works. 6 and whoso has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, 7 and he who shall have done an atom's weight of evil, shall behold it. 8

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
