The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

By the snorting, panting horses, 1 Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire. 2 while running during a raid at dawn, 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 forcing their way into the midst of the enemy, 5 Verily man is most ungrateful to his Lord; 6 And to that (fact) he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 And most surely he is tenacious in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered 9 and all that is [hidden] in men's hearts is bared 10 Surely their Lord will be aware of their (deeds). 11
