The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By oath of those that sprint, breathing heavily. (The horses used in Holy War.) 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 Then those that make raids at morn, 3 and leave behind a cloud of dust 4 And cleaving their way therein into the host, 5 Surely Man is ungrateful to his Lord, 6 He himself knows this very well. 7 And indeed he is ardent for the love of good (wealth, becoming greedy). 8 ۞ Knows he not that when that which is in the tombs is over-thrown, 9 And all what lies in the breasts is opened – 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
