In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
The terrible calamity! 1 What is the Calamity? 2 And what will explain to thee what the (Day) of Noise and Clamour is? 3 [It will occur] on the Day when men will be like moths swarming in confusion, 4 And the mountains will become as carded wool. 5 Then he whose deeds shall weigh heavier in the scale 6 shall inherit a pleasing life, 7 But as for one whose scales are light, 8 Will have the Abyss for abode. 9 Ah, what will convey unto thee what she is! - 10 It is the scorching fire. 11
