THUS, INDEED, did We bestow Our favour upon Moses and Aaron; 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138
