The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
The Striking Calamity - 1 What is the Clatterer. 2 And what will make you comprehend what the terrible calamity is? 3 [It is] a Day when mankind shall be like scattered moths 4 And the mountains will become as carded wool. 5 Then he whose deeds weigh heavy in the Scale 6 Will have a tranquil life; 7 whereas he whose weight is light in the balance 8 He will have his home in Hawiyah (pit, i.e. Hell). 9 And what could make thee conceive what that [abyss] will be? 10 A Blazing Fire! 11
