The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
The (Day) of Noise and Clamour: 1 What is the Striking? 2 How will you comprehend what the startling calamity is? -- 3 The day on which men shall be as scattered moths, 4 The mountains like the tufts of carded wool. 5 And then, he whose weight [of good deeds] is heavy in the balance 6 will live a pleasant life, 7 But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,- 8 A bereft and Hungry One will be his mother, 9 And what can make you know what that is? 10 It is the scorching fire. 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
