The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
The Clatterer! 1 What is the striking (Hour)? 2 Would that you knew what the Clatterer is! 3 The day when men will be like scattered moths. 4 And the mountains shall become as wool carded, 5 Then as for him whose balances are heavy, 6 He shall be in a life well-pleasing. 7 But as for him whose scales are light, 8 He will have his home in Hawiyah (pit, i.e. Hell). 9 And what could make thee conceive what that [abyss] will be? 10 It is a Fire, intensely hot. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
