9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Woe to every scorner and mocker 1 Who accumulated wealth and hoarded it, counting. 2 He thinketh that his wealth will render him immortal. 3 By no means! He shall surely be cast into the Crushing Fire. 4 Would that you understood what that crushing torment is like. 5 It is the fire kindled by Allah, 6 the Fire that shall rise to the hearts (of criminals). 7 Lo! it is closed in on them 8 In extended columns. 9
True are the words of God the Almighty.
