The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

WOE unto every slanderer, fault-finder! 1 who amasses wealth, counting it over, 2 thinking his wealth will render him immortal! 3 By no means! He will be sure to be thrown into That which Breaks to Pieces, 4 What shall let you know what the Crusher is? 5 It is the fire kindled by God 6 which will rise over the [guilty] hearts: 7 it closes in on them from every side 8 in towering columns. 9

God the Almighty always says the truth.
