Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Have you seen him who denies the Recompense? 1 That is he who repulses the orphan (harshly), 2 And does not encourage the feeding of the poor. 3 Ah, woe unto worshippers 4 Who are unmindful of their prayers, 5 Those who do things only to be seen by others. 6 Who are uncharitable even over very small things. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
