The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, 1 Who created all things and fashioned them in good proportion; 2 And Who has measured (preordainments for each and everything even to be blessed or wretched); then guided (i.e. showed mankind the right as well as wrong paths, and guided the animals to pasture); 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 Except what Allah, may will, He knows what is apparent and what is hidden. 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. 10 And the wretched shunneth it. 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 Indeed whosoever purifies himself (by avoiding polytheism and accepting Islamic Monotheism) shall achieve success, 14 And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. 15 However, (the disbelievers) prefer the worldly life 16 but the Everlasting Life is better, and more enduring. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 The scriptures of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
