Moses said, "My Lord! open up my heart, 25 And ease my task for me; 26 Unloose the knot upon my tongue, 27 That they may understand my saying. 28 And appoint for me a minister from my household. 29 Aaron, my brother; 30 Strengthen by him my back. 31 "And let him share my task (of conveying Allah's Message and Prophethood), 32 That we may exalt You much 33 And much remember Thee. 34 Lo! Thou art ever Seeing us. 35 God said, "You have been granted your request, Moses." 36 Indeed, We showed Our favour to you before also, 37 When We inspired to your mother what We inspired, 38 Saying: Put him into a chest, then cast it down into the river, then the river shall throw him on the shore; there shall take him up one who is an enemy to Me and enemy to him, and I cast down upon you love from Me, and that you might be brought up before My eyes; 39 When thy sister went and said: Shall I show you one who will nurse him? and we restored thee to thy mother that her eyes might be refreshed and might not sorrow. And thou didst kill a man and We delivered thee from great distress, and tried thee with a heavy trial. And thou didst tarry years among the folk of Midian. Then camest thou (hither) by (My) providence, O Moses, 40 And I produced you for Myself. 41 Go, you and your brother, with My signs and do not slacken in My remembrance. 42 Go ye twain unto Fir'awn, verily he hath waxen exorbitant, 43 yet speak gently to him, that haply he may be mindful, or perchance fear.' 44 'O our Lord,' said Moses and Aaron, 'truly we fear he may exceed against us, or wax insolent.' 45 The Lord replied them, "Do not be afraid; I Am with you all the time, listening and seeing." 46 So go ye unto him and say: Lo! we are two messengers of thy Lord. So let the children of Israel go with us, and torment them not. We bring thee a token from thy Lord. And peace will be for him who followeth right guidance. 47 Indeed, it has been revealed to us that the punishment will be upon whoever denies and turns away.' " 48 He (Pharaoh) said: 'Moses, who is the Lord of you both' 49 He said: Our Lord is He Who gave unto everything its nature, then guided it aright. 50 Pharaoh said, 'And what of the former generations?' 51 Said Moses, 'The knowledge of them is with my Lord, in a Book; my Lord goes not astray, nor forgets -- 52 Who made the earth for you an expanse and made for you therein paths and sent down water from the cloud; then thereby We have brought forth many species of various herbs. 53 Eat [therefrom] and pasture your livestock. Indeed, in that are signs for those of intelligence. 54
