(Muhammad), have you ever seen the one who has turned away (from guidance), 33 and gives a little, and then grudgingly? 34 Hath he knowledge of the Unseen so that he seeth? 35 Or has he never yet been told of what was [said] in the revelations of Moses, 36 And (of) Ibrahim who fulfilled (the commandments): 37 that no bearer of burdens shall be made to bear another's burden; 38 And that there is not for man except that [good] for which he strives 39 And that his deeds will be seen, 40 Then will he be rewarded with a reward complete; 41 and that the final end is with your Lord, 42 It is He who causes laughter and weeping. 43 And that it is He (Allah) Who causes death and gives life; 44 and that it is He who creates the two kinds - the male and the female 45 from a drop of sperm when it was emitted, 46 And that upon Him is another bringing forth. 47 and that it is He alone who frees from want and causes to possess; 48 and that it is He alone who sustains the brightest star; 49 And that He did destroy the Ad of old 50 and Thamood, and He did not spare them, 51 And also the people of Nuh aforetime. Verily they were even greater wrong-doers and more contumacious. 52 And the subverted cities He overthrew. 53 and covered them with torment. 54 Then which of the Graces of your Lord (O man!) will you doubt. 55 This is a Warner, of the (series of) Warners of old! 56 What is to come is imminent. 57 apart from God none can disclose it. 58 Do you, perchance, find this tiding strange? 59 And you laugh and do not weep 60 While ye amuse yourselves? 61 Prostrate yourselves before God, and worship Him alone! ۩ 62
