Al-Naba' 2 of 2
[But,] verily for the God-conscious there is supreme fulfilment in store: 31 Gardens and vineyards, 32 And full-breasted [companions] of equal age 33 and an overflowing cup. 34 No vanity shall they hear therein, nor Untruth:- 35 for a recompense from thy Lord, a gift, a reckoning, 36 the Lord of the heavens and earth, and all that is between them, the Merciful, of whom they are unable to speak. 37 On the Day whereon the spirits and the angels will stand arrayed, they will not be able to speak save him whom the Compassionate giveth leave and who speaketh aright. 38 That will be the Day of Ultimate Truth: whoever wills, then, let him take the path that leads towards his Sustainer! 39 Surely We have warned you of a chastisement near at hand: the day when man shall see what his two hands have sent before, and the unbeliever shall say: O! would that I were dust! 40
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
