Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven becomes cleft asunder, 1 when the planets are scattered, 2 when the oceans are gushed forth, 3 And when the Graves are turned upside down;- 4 the soul shall know what it has done, the former and the latter. 5 O human! What has deceived you concerning your Generous Lord 6 who created you, formed you and proportioned you? 7 and composed thee after what form He would? 8 Despite this, you deny the Day of Judgment, 9 but you should know that there are angelic guards 10 Kiraman (honourable) Katibin writing down (your deeds). 11 and these honorable scribes know whatever you do. 12 Surely the virtuous shall be in Bliss, 13 But the wicked, indeed they shall be in the Fiery Furnace, 14 They will burn in it on the Day of Judgement, 15 and from which they will find no escape. 16 And what could make thee conceive what that Judgment Day will be? 17 Again, what shall teach thee what is the Day of Doom? 18 It is the Day when no soul can do a thing for another soul. That Day, the command belongs to Allah. 19
