No calamity befalls unless God dispenses. He guides the heart of whosoever believes in God; and God has knowledge of everything. 11 And obey Allah and obey the Apostle, but if you turn back, then upon Our Apostle devolves only the clear delivery (of the message). 12 Allah! La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), and in Allah (Alone), therefore, let the believers put their trust. 13 O believers, some of your spouses and children are your enemies, so beware of them! Yet if you forbear, overlook, and forgive, God is indeed forgiving and kind. 14 Your wealth and your children are only a temptation, whereas Allah! with Him is an immense reward. 15 Therefore be careful of (your duty to) Allah as much as you can, and hear and obey and spend, it is better for your souls; and whoever is saved from the greediness of his soul, these it is that are the successful. 16 If you lend a goodly loan to God, He will double it for you, and forgive you. God knows the worth of good deeds and is clement, 17 The All Knowing of all things hidden and visible, the Most Honourable, the Wise. 18
