Have you seen him who turns his back, 33 who gave a little, and then stopped? 34 Does he have knowledge of the unseen, so he sees? 35 Did not the news reach him, of that which is mentioned in the Books of Moosa? 36 And of Ibrahim who faithfully fulfilled? 37 To wit, that a burthened soul shall not bear the burthen of another. 38 And that man will not obtain anything except what he strove for? 39 and that his work is surely seen 40 Thereafter he shall be recompensed therefor with the fullest recompense. 41 And that the end is only towards your Lord? 42 And that it is He Who made (you) laugh and made (you) cry? 43 And that He it is Who giveth death and giveth life; 44 And that He (Allah) creates the pairs, male and female, 45 From Nutfah (drops of semen male and female discharges) when it is emitted; 46 And that [incumbent] upon Him is the next creation 47 And that it is He Who has given wealth and contentment? 48 And that He only is the Lord of the star Sirius? 49 That it was He who destroyed the 'Ad of old, 50 And Thamud (people). He spared none of them. 51 and before them the people of Noah who were even more unjust and insolent; 52 and He overthrew the subverted cities [of Sodom and Gomorrah] 53 so that there covered it that which covered. 54 Then which of the Graces of your Lord (O man!) will you doubt. 55 This is a warning among the warnings of yore. 56 The imminent Hour has drawn near, 57 apart from God none can disclose it. 58 At this discourse then marvel ye? 59 And laugh and not weep? 60 Wasting your time in vanities? 61 So prostrate yourselves before Allah and worship. ۩ 62
