It is He who made the earth submissive to you; therefore walk in its tracts, and eat of His provision; to Him is the Uprising. 15 Have you become unafraid of the One Who controls the heavens, that He will not cause you to sink into the earth when it trembles? 16 Do you feel secure that He who is in the heaven will not loose against you a squall of pebbles then you shall know how was My warning. 17 But indeed men before them rejected (My warning): then how (terrible) was My rejection (of them)? 18 And did they not see the birds above them, spreading and closing their wings? None except the Most Gracious holds them up; indeed He sees all things. 19 Or who is he that will be an army unto you to help you instead of the Beneficent? The disbelievers are in naught but illusion. 20 Who can provide for you, if He withholds His provision? Yet they obstinately persist in rebellion and avoidance of the truth. 21 What, is he who walks, falling upon his face, more guided than he who walks upright on a Straight Path! 22 Proclaim (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “It is He Who created you, and made ears and eyes and hearts for you; very little thanks do you offer!” 23 Say: "It is He Who has created you from the earth, and to Him shall you be gathered (in the Hereafter)." 24 And they say, "When is this promise, if you should be truthful?" 25 Say, "God knows best. I am only one who gives warning". 26 Then, when they see it nigh at hand, the faces of the unbelievers will be vexed, and it will be said, 'This is what you were promised.' 27 Say, [O Muhammad], "Have you considered: whether Allah should cause my death and those with me or have mercy upon us, who can protect the disbelievers from a painful punishment?" 28 Say: "He is (Allah) Most Gracious: We have believed in Him, and on Him have we put our trust: So, soon will ye know which (of us) it is that is in manifest error." 29 Say, "Have you not thought that if your water was to dry up, who would bring you water from the spring?" 30
