Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the (Steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 Striking sparks of fire (by their hooves), 2 Then those charging in the morning 3 Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust, 4 Arriving thereby in the center collectively, 5 Verily man is unto his Lord ungrateful. 6 And most surely he is a witness of that. 7 for, verily, to the love of wealth is he most ardently devoted. 8 ۞ Is he not aware that when whatever lies (buried) in the graves is overthrown; 9 And that which is in the breasts (of men) shall be made known. 10 On that day their Lord surely knows all about them! 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
