Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
And, indeed We gave Our Grace to Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron). 114 and We saved them and their people from the awesome calamity [of bondage,] 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 except for God's sincere servants; 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
