Al-Takweer
The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the sun is covered, 1 when the stars shall scatter away, 2 when the mountains shall be set moving, 3 And when the camels are left untended, 4 And when the wild animals are made to go forth, 5 And when the seas shall be filled, 6 when the souls shall be rejoined (with their bodies), 7 And when the female infant buried alive is asked 8 For what crime she was killed; 9 And when the pages are made public 10 And when the sky is stripped away 11 And when the hell is kindled up, 12 and Paradise brought nigh: 13 Every soul shall (then) know what it has prepared. 14 I swear by the receding stars. 15 Who move straight and stop. 16 and by the night as it recedes, 17 and brightening morning, 18 it is indeed the word of an Honorable Messenger, 19 Endued with Power, with rank before the Lord of the Throne, 20 With authority there, (and) faithful to his trust. 21 And your comrade is not mad. 22 he truly beheld him [the angel] on the clear horizon. 23 and he is not one to begrudge others the knowledge [of whatever has been revealed to him] out of that which is beyond the reach of human Perception. 24 Nor is it the word of the cursed Shaitan, 25 Whither then go ye? 26 Verily, this (the Quran) is no less than a Reminder to (all) the 'Alamin (mankind and jinns). 27 to everyone of you who wills to walk a straight way. 28 And ye will not, unless (it be) that Allah willeth, the Lord of Creation. 29
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
