۞ Gather all the wicked together and their comrades, and those they had worshipped 22 Besides Allah, then lead them to the way to hell. 23 And stop them; verily they are to be questioned: 24 What aileth you that ye succour not one another? 25 Nay, but on that Day they would willingly surrender [to God]; 26 And some of them inclined towards others, mutually questioning. 27 Some [of them] will say: "Behold, you were wont to approach us [deceptively] from the right!" 28 [To which] the others will reply: "Nay, you yourselves were bereft of all faith! 29 we had no power over you; but you yourselves were a rebellious people. 30 So the sentence of our Lord has come to pass against us: (now) we shall surely taste; 31 “We therefore led you astray, for we ourselves were astray!” 32 So, they will become partners in punishment. 33 Verily, thus shall We deal with all who were lost in sin: 34 Verily when it was said unto them: there is no god but Allah, they ever grew stiff-necked. 35 and said, "Should we give up our idols for the sake of an insane poet". 36 (They say so although) he brought the Truth and confirmed the veracity of the Messengers. 37 (They will be told), "You will certainly suffer the painful torment 38 Ye are requited naught save what ye did - 39 But the sincere (and devoted) Servants of Allah,- 40 for them awaits a known provision, 41 Fruits, and they shall be highly honored, 42 In Gardens of Felicity, 43 Facing each other on Thrones (of Dignity): 44 Round them will be passed a cup of pure wine; 45 white, sparkling (wine), a delight to the drinkers. 46 Wherein there is no headache nor are they made mad thereby. 47 And with them are those who do not set gaze upon men except their husbands, the maidens with gorgeous eyes. 48 [as free of faults] as if they were hidden [ostrich] eggs. 49 Then they will advance unto each other, mutually questioning. 50 A speaker of them saith: Lo! I had a comrade 51 Who said: art thou of those who confess to the doctrine of Resurrection: 52 After we are dead and have become all dust and bones shall we still be requited?' 53 Allah will say: will ye look down? 54 Then he looks, and sees him in the midst of Hell. 55 He shall say: By Allah! you had almost caused me to perish; 56 But for the Favor of Allah I should have surely been among those who were arraigned (with you in Hell). 57 (Allah informs about that true believer that he said): "Are we then not to die (any more)? 58 Except for our first death, and we will not be punished?" 59 Truly, this is the supreme success! 60 for which one must strive hard. 61 So is this welcome better, or the tree of Zaqqum? 62 We have appointed it as a trial for the evildoers. 63 It is a tree that comes forth in the root of Hell; 64 Its spathes are like the heads of satans. 65 Then most surely they shall eat of it and fill (their) bellies with it. 66 then on top of it they have a brew of boiling water, 67 Then thereafter, verily, their return is to the flaming fire of Hell. 68 Verily, they found their fathers on the wrong path; 69 and they run in their footsteps. 70 And assuredly there went stray before them many of the ancients. 71 And verily We sent among them warners. 72 See how terrible was the end of those who were warned. 73 Except the chosen slaves of Allah (faithful, obedient, and true believers of Islamic Monotheism). 74
