And mention in the Book, Moses. Indeed, he was chosen, and he was a messenger and a prophet. 51 We called him from the right slope of the Mount, and brought him nigh in communion. 52 And with Our mercy We bestowed upon him his brother Haroon, a Prophet. 53 And mention in the Book (the Quran) Isma'il (Ishmael). Verily! He was true to what he promised, and he was a Messenger, (and) a Prophet. 54 And he was wont to command his household to the prayer and the poor-rate, and he was with his Lord an approved one. 55 And mention Idris in the Book; surely he was a truthful man, a prophet, 56 And We lifted him to a high position. (Living with soul & body in heaven, after his death.) 57 THESE WERE some of the prophets upon whom God bestowed His blessings - [prophets] of the seed of Adam and of those whom We caused to be borne [in the ark] with Noah, and of the seed of Abraham and Israel and [all of them were] among those whom We had guided and elected; [and] whenever the messages of the Most Gracious were conveyed unto them, they would fall down [before Him,] prostrating themselves and weeping. ۩ 58 ۞ But there came after them successors who neglected prayer and pursued desires; so they are going to meet evil - 59 Except those who repent and come to believe and do the right. These will enter Paradise and will not be wronged the least 60 Gardens Everlasting, which the Compassionate hath promised unto his bondmen, unseen; verily His promise is ever to be fulfilled. 61 They shall not hear in it anything vain; they shall hear only what is good; and they shall have their provision in it, morning and evening. 62 Such is the Garden which We shall cause those of Our bondmen to inherit who have been God-fearing. 63 And we do not descend but by the command of your Lord; to Him belongs whatever is before us and whatever is behind us and whatever is between these, and your Lord is not forgetful. 64 He is the Lord of the heavens and of the earth and of all that is between the two. So worship Him alone and be steadfast in His worship. Do you know of anyone equal to Him in His attributes? 65

(1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
