Say: "I am only a warner, and there is no other god but God, the one, the omnipotent, 65 the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them; the Almighty, the Forgiving' 66 Say: "That (this Quran) is a great news, 67 Whence ye turn away! 68 "No knowledge have I of the Chiefs on high, when they discuss (matters) among themselves. 69 had it not been revealed unto me [by God] - to no other end than that I might convey [unto you] a plain warning. 70 [For,] lo, thy Sustainer said unto the angels: "Behold, I am about to create a human being out of clay; 71 and when I have formed him fully and breathed into him of My spirit, fall you down before him in prostration!" 72 So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them: 73 Saving Iblis; he was scornful and became one of the disbelievers. 74 He (Allah) said: 'iblis, what prevented you from prostrating yourself towards that which I have created with My Hands? Have you become too proud, or are you among the grand' 75 He said, "I am better than him. You created me from fire and created him from clay." 76 He said: Go forth from hence, for lo! thou art outcast, 77 And verily My curse shall be on thee till the Day of Requital, 78 Said he, 'My Lord, respite me till the day they shall be raised.' 79 so He said, "You are granted respite 80 Until the Day of the time well-known." 81 He said: Then by Thy Might I will surely make them live an evil life, all, 82 except for those among them who are Your chosen servants." 83 He (i.e. Allah) said: “This is the Truth -- and I only speak the Truth -- 84 I shall certainly fill Gehenna with you and every one of them that follows you' 85 (O Prophet), tell them: “I do not ask you for any recompense for the performance of this task; nor am I given to affectation. 86 This is nothing else but a reminder to all the worlds, 87 you shall before long know its truth." 88
