The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
I swear by (the angels) who stand in ranks, 1 And by oath of those who herd with a stern warning. 2 By the angels reciting the praise. 3 Verily, verily, your Allah is one!- 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and everything between them; Lord of the Easts. 5 Verily We! We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment: the stars. 6 And (there is) a safeguard against every rebellious Shaitan. 7 [so that] they [who seek to learn the unknowable] should not be able to overhear the host on high, but shall be repelled from all sides, 8 and driven away to suffer the necessary torment. 9 Save him who snatcheth a fragment, and there pursueth him a piercing flame. 10 Then ask them (O Muhammad): Are they stronger as a creation, or those (others) whom we have created? Lo! We created them of plastic clay. 11 Nay, thou marvellest; and they scoff 12 When they are reminded, they do not remember. 13 And when they see a sign, they ridicule 14 And say, "This is not but obvious magic. 15 "When we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we (then) verily be resurrected? 16 And our forefathers? 17 Say: 'Yes, but worthless' 18 So that is just a single jolt, thereupon they will begin staring. 19 and will say: "Oh, woe unto us! This is the Day of Judgment!" 20 “This is the Day of Judgement, which you used to deny!” 21
