Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

May the hands of Abu Lahab perish! May he too perish! 1 His property and worldly gains will be of no help to him. 2 He will [enter to] burn in a Fire of [blazing] flame 3 And his wife also: the firewood carrier; 4 On her neck shall be a cord of twisted fibre. 5

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
