Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ I swear by the Day of Resurrection 1 and by the self accusing soul (that you will certainly be resurrected). 2 Thinketh man that We shall not assemble his bones? 3 Yea, verily. We are Able to restore his very fingers! 4 Rather, the human desires to continue in his immorality, 5 He asks: "When will the Day of Resurrection be?" 6 When, then, the sight shall be confounded. 7 And the moon darkens 8 And the sun and moon are conjoined, 9 That Day will Man say: "Where is the refuge?" 10 Never! There is no refuge! 11 With thy Sustainer, on that Day, the journey's end will be! 12 On that day, man will be informed of all what he sent ahead and left behind. 13 Nay, man will be evidence against himself, 14 Though he may put forth his excuses (to cover his evil deeds). 15 Move not thy tongue therewith that thou mayest hasten therewith. 16 We Ourself shall see to its collection and recital. 17 And so when We recite it, follow its recitation attentively; 18 Then it is for Us (Allah) to make it clear to you, 19 By no means! Verily ye love the Herein. 20 and leave be the Hereafter. 21 Some faces that Day shall be Nadirah (shining and radiant). 22 Looking to their Lord. 23 And on that day some faces will be ghastly. 24 thou mightest think the Calamity has been wreaked on them. 25 By no means! When it cometh up to the collar-bone. 26 And it is said: Who will be a magician? 27 And the dying one is certain that it is the [time of] separation 28 And one leg will be joined with another: 29 On that day, the herding will be only towards your Lord. 30
