In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 1 and then storming on with a tempest's force! 2 and by the scatterers scattering (rain) 3 And the scattering winds scattering. 4 by those who bring down the reminder, 5 To clear or to warn. 6 Go to the shadow with three ramifications, 7 Thus, [it will come to pass] when the stars are effaced, 8 when heaven shall be split 9 when the mountains shall be scattered 10 And when the time of the Noble Messengers arrives. 11 for what Day has this been appointed? 12 one will be told, "To the Day of Distinction". 13 Would that you knew about the Day of Judgment! 14 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 15 Did We not destroy [so many of] those [sinners] of olden days? 16 So shall We make the later ones to follow them. 17 Thus do We deal with the sinful ones. 18 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 19 Have We not created you from a fluid (held) despicable?- 20 Which We placed in a depository safe. 21 For a known term? 22 We then calculated; so how excellently do We control! 23 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 24 Have We not made the earth (as a place) to draw together. 25 for the living and the dead, 26 place on it high mountains and provide you with fresh water? 27 I CALL TO WITNESS those who are sent consecutively, 28 Proceed now towards that which you were wont to deny as false; 29 Proceed to a shadow rising in three columns: 30 Neither having the coolness of the shade nor availing against the flame. 31 which - behold! - will throw up sparks like [burning] logs, 32 which seem as though they are yellow-coloured camels. 33 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 34 That will be a Day when they shall not be able to speak. 35 Nor given leave to make excuses. 36 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 37 That will be a Day of Decision! We have brought you and the men of old together! 38 and if you [think that you] have a subterfuge left, try to outwit Me!" 39 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
