The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, 1 who has created and shaped, 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 And [then] makes it black stubble. 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy unto thee the easy way. 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 in mind will keep it he who stands in awe [of God,] 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 Indeed whosoever purifies himself (by avoiding polytheism and accepting Islamic Monotheism) shall achieve success, 14 who remembers the name of his Lord and prays, shall indeed be successful. 15 However, (the disbelievers) prefer the worldly life 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
