Destiny (Al-Qadr)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after He Frowned ('Abasa) before The Sun (Al-Shams)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

TRULY WE REVEALED it on the Night of Determination. 1 And what will make you comprehend what the grand night 2 The night of Al-Qadr (Decree) is better than a thousand months (i.e. worshipping Allah in that night is better than worshipping Him a thousand months, (i.e. 83 years and 4 months). 3 In it descend the angels and Jibreel, by the command of their Lord – for all works. 4 Peace! it is till the break of the morning. 5

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
