Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 (Call to mind) when We delivered him and all his kinsfolk, 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
