Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

We have placed constellations in heaven and have beautified it for beholders, 16 and We have guarded it from every accursed devil: 17 Except one who steals a hearing and is pursued by a clear burning flame. 18 And the earth -- We stretched it forth, and cast on it firm mountains, and We caused to grow therein of every thing justly weighed, 19 and there appointed for you is a livelihood, and for those you do not provide. 20 With Us is the source of everything and We do not send it down except in a known quantity. 21 We send the winds fertilizing, and We send down out of heaven water, from which you drink and you are not its treasurers. 22 And indeed, it is We who give life and cause death, and We are the Inheritor. 23 And certainly We know those of you who have gone before and We certainly know those who shall come later. 24 Assuredly it is thy Lord Who will gather them together: for He is perfect in Wisdom and Knowledge. 25
