T H (Taa Haa)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ TA HA. 1 We have not sent the Quran to make you, (Muhammad), miserable, 2 But as admonition for him who fears -- 3 A revelation from Him (Allah) Who has created the earth and high heavens. 4 (Allah) Most Gracious is firmly established on the throne (of authority). 5 Unto Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on earth, as well as all that is between them and all that is beneath the sod. 6 Be thou loud in thy speech, yet surely He knows the secret and that yet more hidden. 7 Allah - there is no deity except Him. To Him belong the best names. 8 Has the story of Moses reached you? 9 When he saw a fire and said to his family, "Stay here; indeed, I have perceived a fire; perhaps I can bring you a torch or find at the fire some guidance." 10 So when he came near the fire, it was announced, “O Moosa!” 11 Surely I am your Lord, therefore put off your shoes; surely you are in the sacred valley, Tuwa, 12 And I have chosen you, so listen to what is revealed: 13 "Verily, I - I alone - am God; there is no deity save Me. Hence, worship Me alone, and be constant in prayer, so as to remember Me! 14 Although it is certain that the Day of Judgment will come, I prefer to keep it almost a secret so that every soul will receive the recompense for what it has done (on its own). 15 "Therefore let not such as believe not therein but follow their own lusts, divert thee therefrom, lest thou perish!".. 16 "And what is that in your right hand, O Musa (Moses)?" 17 He said: "This is my stick, whereon I lean, and wherewith I beat down branches for my sheep, and wherein I find other uses." 18 He said: Cast it down, O Musa! 19 Moses threw it on the ground and suddenly he saw that it was a moving serpent. 20 He said, “Pick it up and do not fear; We shall restore it to its former state.” 21 And draw in your hand to your side; it will come out white without disease - another sign, 22 This We have done to show you some of Our greater miracles. 23 "[And now] go thou unto Pharaoh: for, verily, he has transgressed all bounds of equity. 24
