The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By (the horses) that charge snorting, 1 sparks of fire striking, 2 And by oath of those who raid at dawn. 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 cleaving there with a host! 5 Verily man is most ungrateful to his Lord; 6 and he himself is a witness to that, 7 Surely, he is ardent in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when that which is in the tombs is over-thrown, 9 And the hearts' contents shall be brought into the open? 10 On that day will their Lord be perfectly informed concerning them. 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
