Beholdest thou not that We have sent the satans upon the infidels inciting them by an incitement? 83 So make no haste against them; We only count out to them a (limited) number (of the days of the life of this world and delay their term so that they may increase in evil and sins). 84 The Day We shall gather the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2) unto the Most Beneficent (Allah), like a delegate (presented before a king for honour). 85 And drive the guilty unto hell, a weary herd, 86 They shall not own intercession, excepting those who have taken of the Compassionate a covenant. 87 As it is, some assert, "The Most Gracious has taken unto Himself a son 88 Certainly you have made an abominable assertion 89 Which would cleave the skies asunder, rend the earth, and split the mountains, 90 that they have attributed to the All-merciful a son; 91 It does not become the majesty of the Compassionate God to take to Himself a son: 92 All that is in the heavens and the earth will return to the Beneficent God as His submissive servants. 93 Verily He encompasses them and has counted them all. 94 And every one of them will come to Him on the day of resurrection alone. 95 Those who believe and do righteous deeds, the Merciful will assign for them love. 96 We have therefore made this Qur’an easy upon your tongue, (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) for you to announce glad tidings with it to those who fear, and warn those who are quarrelsome. 97 And how many have We destroyed before them of generations? Do you perceive of them anyone or hear from them a sound? 98
