The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
I swear by those who draw themselves out in ranks 1 And those who restrain by reprimanding, 2 and those who recite Our revelations, 3 Indeed, your God is One, 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is in-between the twain, and Lord of the easts. 5 We have decked the lower heavens with stars 6 And to guard against every rebellious devil. 7 they cannot overhear the Higher Assembly for they are pelted from every side, 8 To make them flee, and for them is a never-ending punishment. 9 Except him who snatches off but once, then there follows him a brightly shining flame. 10 So ask them (that is, human beings): “Were they harder to create than the objects We created?” We created them from sticky clay. 11 No, you marvel, while they scoff. 12 And, when they are admonished, pay no heed,- 13 and when they become aware of a [divine] message, they turn it to ridicule 14 And they say: Lo! this is mere magic; 15 When we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then, forsooth, be raised (again)? 16 And our fathers too?" 17 Say (O Muhammad): Ye, in truth; and ye will be brought low. 18 There will only be a single jerk, and they will gape, 19 And will say, “O our misfortune!” It will be said to them, “This is the Day of Justice.” 20 (It will be said): "This is the Day of Judgement which you used to deny." 21
