Al-Qaare'ah

The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

Al-Qari'ah (the striking Hour i.e. the Day of Resurrection), 1 What is the startling calamity? 2 What shall Make thee know that which the Striking is? 3 [It is] a Day when mankind shall be like scattered moths 4 The mountains like the tufts of carded wool. 5 Then as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be heavy, 6 shall live in a life which is pleasing, 7 But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,- 8 His refuge will be an abyss. 9 And what will make you know what it is? 10 (It is) a hot blazing Fire! 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
