The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ WHEN WHAT IS to happen comes to pass -- 1 Which is bound to happen undoubtedly -- 2 It will bring down [some] and raise up [others]. 3 This will happen when the earth is shaken, shaken 4 And the mountains are broken down, crumbling 5 they will become like dust scattered around. 6 On that day, you (mankind) will be divided into three groups: 7 So those on the right – how (fortunate) are those on the right! 8 And the companions of the left - what are the companions of the left? 9 And the Outstrippers, the Outstrippers 10 those are they brought nigh the Throne, 11 In the Gardens of Pleasure, 12 a host of the ancients 13 but [only] a few of later times. 14 [They will be seated] on gold-encrusted thrones of happiness, 15 Reclining thereon facing each other. 16 immortal youths going round about them 17 with goblets and ewers, and a cup from a spring 18 Wherefrom they get no aching of the head nor any madness, 19 And fruit of what they select 20 And the flesh of fowls, any that they may desire. 21 And (there are) fair ones with wide, lovely eyes, 22 like the pearls in their shells: 23 A reward for what they used to do. 24 Therein they hear no vain or sinful discourse. 25 but only the tiding of inner soundness and peace. 26 And the companions of the right hand; how happy are the companions of the right hand! 27 (They will be) among Lote-trees without thorns, 28 Among Talh (banana-trees) with fruits piled one above another, 29 and extended shade, 30 and waters gushing, 31 And fruit in plenty 32 Whose season is not limited, and their supply will not be cut off, 33 and raised couches 34 and the noble maidens that We have created 35 And have made them virgins. 36 full of love, well-matched 37 All this will be for the People on the Right; 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
